The newly formed Interact Club at Prospect High School* invites you to provide warmth, confidence, and hope by supplying warm coats for local kids.

There are two ways to help:
1. Donate gently used or new coats – drop off at Prospect High School lobby through November 15th

2. Donate cash towards new coats. $25 buys one new coat. **

** The Rotary Club of River Cities, serving Mount Prospect, Des Plaines and Prospect Heights, provides new winter coats for children in the local communities through the Operation Warm program.  The goal is to provide only brand-new coats to local children in need. Instead of collecting used coats like a traditional coat drive, high-quality, brand-new coats are distributed to help kids feel confident and valued.

Traditionally the social workers at the Village of Mount Prospect and Prospect Heights School District 23 share the needs with the Club who in turn raise the funds to purchase the coats and assist with their distribution. This Club, initially serving Mount Prospect and Prospect Heights merged with the Rotary Club of Des Plaines and, therefore, added Des Plaines School District 62 to its Operation Warm project. While the number of children in need of coats has increased, adding a third community has amplified the need for donations.  If you would like to donate to this cause, please contact Erich Held at erich@heldagency.com

Operation Warm coats help raise the self-esteem and peer acceptance of children struggling in poverty. Every child deserves a new, warm coat no matter their economic background.
