District Conference – October 2–3Looking ahead, our District Conference will be held October 2–3 at the Westin in Itasca, beginning Friday at 4:30 p.m. and concluding Saturday at 4:30 p.m. This 24-hour event will feature:
Registration is just $99, and a block of 50 hotel rooms is available at a special rate of $125 for those who would like to enjoy Friday evening’s festivities without traveling back and forth. My goal is to welcome 200 attendees—about 10% of our district's 1,850 members. I encourage every club without a fundraiser that weekend to send representatives. The conference is also an excellent opportunity to invite prospective members and help new members connect with the district (click here to register). First-time attendees will be entered into a drawing for a special prize, so don't miss out! |

Come join friends and neighbors from Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Palatine and River Cities for a walk around Lake Arlington to help support World Polio Day.
On October 24, World Polio Day, the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights, along with the Rotary Clubs of Buffalo Grove, Palatine and River Cities, will join thousands of Rotary members across eleven states and two countries in the World’s Largest Polio Walk, a coordinated effort to raise awareness and support the global fight to end polio.
As part of this initiative, thousands of Rotary club members, friends and families are expected to participate by organizing and joining walks in their local communities. The Rotary Club of Arlington Heights will host its local walk at beautiful Lake Arlington on October 24 at 10:00 AM, inviting community members, families, and supporters to take part in this meaningful event. Rotary has been a leader in the fight to eradicate polio for more than 35 years through its End Polio Now campaign, helping reduce cases worldwide by over 99.9%. Events like the World’s Largest Polio Walk aim to raise awareness and ensure the momentum continues until polio is fully eradicated. Participants are encouraged to wear Rotary or End Polio Now gear, bring friends and family, and share their experience on social media to help amplify the message. |
